History of Green Energy Corporation

Green Energy Corporation has brought together the nation's leading experts to construct self-contained, attractive, modular energy plants that will convert Municipal Solid Waste (MSW) or other Bio-Waste Materials into syngas, ethanol or diesal fuel, and electricity, with ZERO atmosphere and water emissions.

Reducing Landfill Usage

Most of the fuel ethanol made in the United States currently comes from corn. Indpendent Energy believes that we can use other potential feedstocks, including waste paper and landfill trash. This will reduce significantly the number and the need for additional landfills.

Creating Jobs for the Community

Each 500 ton per day plant will provide jobs for 95 highly compensated people. The initial plant which will be constructed in Monroe County, Pennsylvania, will have a University alliance with classrooms and labs to advance the state of the art for MSW processing and conversion technology science.

Furthering Our Nation's Independence from Foreign Oil

Each facility will be able to convert 238,000 tons (30% moisture) of MSW, 275,000 tons (50% moisture) of Wood Waste, and 182,000 tons (dry) of Coal into the following Energy Products:

  • 130,000 MWh/yr electricity
  • 10 million gallons of Diesel Fuel
  • 15 million gallons of Ethanol
